Clinton H. Garner

Mr. Clinton H. Garner, age 100, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. Garner was born May 10, 1916, in LaGrange, son of the late Ben Baker Garner and Hassie Bassett Garner. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, he served in the U. S. Navy during World War Two and retired as a department manager from Milliken and Company. Survivors include his wife, Betty Garner of LaGrange; and step-sons, Richard Gladney and Steve Gladney, both of Atlanta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lurline Garner. A family burial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
