MR. RAY LEE Mr. Clifford Ray Lee, 73, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at his home. Born February 3, 1938, in Franklin, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Nathan and Evelyn Lee. He was a veteran of service in the U. S. Army, was a former member of Concord Baptist Church, and was a lifelong resident of Troup County. He owned and operated Lee's Pulpwood Co. and Lee's Small Engine Repair, and was a welder and sheet metal fabricator. Survivors include his wife, Faith Smith Lee of LaGrange; daughter, Valerie Lee Chambers and her husband, Steve of Grantville; sons, Clifford Ray Lee, Jr., Nathan Melvin Lee and his wife, Paula, all of LaGrange; brothers, Clarence Lee, Ernest Lee, both of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Clifford Ray Lee III, Nathan Melvin Lee, Jr., and Anna-Marie Herndon. The family will hold a private memorial service later. It is the request of the family that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions made to Dallas-Dodd Presbyterian Church, 1244 Ware's Cross Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
