Mr. Clifford Gene Hosey, 64, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Hosey was born September 9, 1951, in LaGrange, son of the late Warner and Hazel Denny Hosey. He retired as a Sergeant from the U.S. Army after twenty years of service and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He returned to LaGrange in 1991 and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dale Hosey of LaGrange; sons, Danny Stogner, Jr. and his wife Maegan of Hogansville and Michael Bradley of LaGrange; grandchildren, Zoie Cline, Grayden Cline, Danny Randall (Trey) Stogner III; sisters and brothers in-law, Glenda and Paul McDaniel, Betty Sue and David Thomas, all of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Warner, Jr. and Esther Hosey of Millen, Phillip and Gail Hosey and Bobby Hosey, all of LaGrange. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Hosey and daughter, Danielle Cline.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jimmy McMillian will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Saturday night.
