Claude Lee Weldon

MR. CLAUDE L. WELDON Mr. Claude Lee Weldon, 76, of Hogansville, passed away, Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at his home. Mr. Weldon was born April 6, 1938, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, son of the late Lowell and Gladys Tillman Weldon. A member of the Church of the Nazarene, he retired as a heavy equipment technician, having been employed by Cummings Diesel, and had made his home in Hogansville since 1987. Survivors include his wife, Lavella Weldon of Hogansville; daughters and son in-law, Carol Tortorello of Beaumont, CA, Linda and Lon Krawczyk of Greensboro, NC; step-daughters and their husbands, Glenda and Kenny Pruitt of Searcy, AR, Samira and Brian Lyon of Otis, CO, Susan and Skip Hogan of Lula; step-sons and their wives, Fred and Diane Coates of Adairsville, Carey and Janelle Coates of Woodstock; sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. The family is planning a private memorial service at his home on the weekend of December 20th, and friends are welcome to attend. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
