Claude Edward Brown

Claude E. Brown Mr. Claude Edward Brown, 69, of Whitesburg, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at the home of his daughter in Luthersville. Born Dec. 3, 1940, in Manchester, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Thomas and Nellie Kierbow Brown. He was an Air Force veteran, retired from CKS Packing, and lived most of his life in Luthersville, having lived in Whitesburg for the past 12 years. Survivors include his daughters and son in-law, Tammy Brown of Luthersville and Barbara and David Garrett of Marietta; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Eugene Brown. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Visitation: 6 until 8 wednesday night at Claude A.
