Mr. Clarence Earl Lee, 79, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Lee was born August 23, 1936, in Morrow, son of the late Nathan Peoples Lee and Evelyn Shirey Lee. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he owned and operated Lee's Pulpwood for many years. He was known for his love of flea markets and for his ability to have any item that someone might need, especially items related to lawnmowers and small engines.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Irwin Rahr Ervin Lee; his son and daughter in-law, Joey and Joann Lee; grandson, J. R. Lee; and brother and sister in-law, Ernest and Brenda Lee, all of LaGrange. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford "Ray" Lee; sister, Carolyn Lee Wilkerson Alsabrook; his first wife, Janice Grey Lee Branton; and his second wife, Mary "Jewell" Wilkerson Sanders Lee.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family does not plan to hold a service at this time.
