Clarence "Bill" Mabry

Mr. Clarence "Bill" Mabry, 70 of Five Points, Al, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1953 in Wedowee, Al., Mr. Mabry was the son of the late Johnny Boyd Mabry and Pauline Cummings Johnson. He was a resident of Five Points, AL most of his life and was a Millwright by trade. Mr. Mabry loved fishing, camping, horses, and reading western books.

Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Edward Wayne and Janet Mabry; granddaughter, Brooke Mabry; two step-granddaughters, Jordane and Taylor Coppock, all of Griffin; brother, John Wayne Simons of Butler; three sisters, Ruth Blair and Nellie Wright of Five Points, Al and Lenora Simons of Valley, Al; and a special friend, Jeannette Johnson of Hogansville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mabry was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Scott Mabry; and his sisters, Mary Joyce Simons and Betty Jean Freeman.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff McCartney officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Tuesday afternoon.
