Clara Mae Williams

MRS. CLARA M. WILLIAMS Mrs. Clara Mae Williams, 85, of Newnan, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Ansley Park Nursing and Rehabilitation in Newnan. Born February 26, 1929 in Atlanta, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Claude and Fannie Mae Gray. She retired from K-Mart in Newnan, was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church, and had lived in Coweta County since the mid 1970's. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Eugenia and Jimmy Brown of Gay; son, Larry Williams of Jonesboro; sister, Reba Miles of Forest Park; brother, Skeeter Gray of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Harold Williams and a daughter, Robin Lynn Williams. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, with the Reverend Mary Ruth Davidson officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
