Cindy Neal Johnson

Mrs. Cindy Neal Johnson, 65, of Greenville, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus.

Mrs. Johnson was born July 19, 1957, in Atlanta, daughter of the late George Nelson Neal, Sr. and Melba Sanders Neal. A resident of Meriwether County for a number of years, she was a member of Hogansville Church of God, enjoyed crocheting, and especially loved being with her grandbabies.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Johnson of Greenville; daughters, Tara and Mark Storey of Hogansville, Becky Johnson of LaGrange, Nichole and Larry Gaddy of Meansville, Casey King and Bill Allen of Carrollton; son, Steven Johnson of Jacksonville, NC; brothers, George Nelson Neal, Jr. and his wife Becky of Dacula, Mike Neal and his wife Laura of Greenville; Mark Neal of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge and the Reverend Ava Scott will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday.
