Christopher Lee "Chris" Wilson

Mr. Christopher Lee "Chris" Wilson, 51, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at his home. Chris was born August 17, 1970, in Newnan and lived in the Hogansville area all of his life. He was employed as a department manager at Home Depot in LaGrange and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his son, Michael Wilson of LaGrange; daughter, Mashay Wilson, also of LaGrange; grandchildren, Renlynn Wilson and Jordan Wilson, sisters, Betty Baker of Hogansville, Melissa Jackson of Roopville; brothers, Wayne Jackson and Tim Jackson, also of Roopville; special friend, Brenda Richardson of Hogansville; and several nieces and nephews, including Melissa Breed of Hogansville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Emory Hogan. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Ray Breed officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday.
