Christopher Scott Dire, Sr.

Christopher Scott Dire, Sr., 53, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, in Advance, Missouri.

Mr. Dire was born August 10, 1970, in Atlanta, son of the late Tony Dire and the late Becky Runels Dire Williamson. He lived in Troup County most of his life and was employed for many years at West Georgia Textiles.

Survivors include his daughters, Courtney Hickman, Anna Hammond, and Karly Dire, all of Hogansville; son, Levi Dire of Dahlonega; sister, Shana Massa of Advance, MO; brothers, Jerry Williamson of Franklin, Jason Williamson of Hogansville; and grandchildren, Ethan, Ava, Edward, Aiden, Grace, Addie, Judson, and Hadley. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Scott "CJ" Dire, Jr.

A private family interment was held Saturday, June 15, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
