Christie Mcclung Smith

Christie McClung Smith, 48, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the home of her daughter in Phenix City, AL. Christie was born October 24, 1968, in LaGrange and lived in Troup County most of her life. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in LaGrange. Survivors include her children, Kayla O'Neal of Phenix City, Mallory Blanks, Leslie Moman, and Britt Moman, all of LaGrange; her mother, Shelby Jean Hambrick of LaGrange; sister, Kathy Kirkland of Hogansville; brother, Shane McClung of West Point; and six grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Thursday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
