Christie Allen Robertson

Mrs. Christie Allen Robertson, 61 of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan. Mrs. Robertson was born October 2, 1956 and lived most of her life in the Hogansville and Newnan area. She had been a bus driver for 10 years with the Coweta County School System. Survivors include her daughters, Suzanne Hudson of Newnan, Shelley Chaffin of Newnan, Shannon Davis of Hogansville, and Deeann Ashley of Newnan; her mother, Betty Sue Allen of Hogansville; brothers, Grady Allen, III of Warner Robbins, and Bill Allen of Gilroy, CA; 7 grandchildren; and her boyfriend, Vincent Merritt of Hogansville. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, John Robertson; father, G. W. Allen, Jr.; sister, Suzanne Allen; and a brother, Marshall White. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend T.J. Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2 Friday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in Mrs. Robertson's memory.
