Chave` Inez Benitez

Chavè Inez Benitez, 35, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the home of her father in Mountville.

Born December 29, 1987 in Wiesbaden, Germany, Chavè earned an associate degree from Columbus Technical College. She worked various jobs, from medical assistant to makeup artist to retail, and was a bubbly loving person who could always make you smile.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Benitez, of Port Richey, FL; her father and step-mother, Nathaniel and Susan Benitez, of Mountville; her sister, Marina Aurora Benitez and Sean Murphy of Hypoluxo, FL; her fiancé, Angel LaSalle, of Temple Terrace, FL; her grandparents, Rosa Valentin, of Kissimmee, FL and Sharyn O'Leary and Richard Espeut of Providence, RI; her half-sister, Nicolette Nunes-Horyst, Buckeye, AZ; step-sisters, Stephanie Whitlock-Periatt, Hampton, VA; Laura Whitlock-Perdue, Gay, GA, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Chavè was an amazing, caring soul who loved helping others. She had a sharp sense of humor and lit up the room. Everyone was drawn to her magnetic personality. Chavè was a friend to everyone and a stranger to none. She loved animals and rescued many, especially kittens. She expressed her creativity through painting and writing and produced a beautiful portfolio of art that her loved ones will always treasure.

She loved her pastor, Dennis Farr and church family at Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange.

The family is honoring the wishes of Chavè that a formal service not be conducted.
