Charlotte Elaine Wood

Miss Charlotte Elaine Wood, 66, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Miss Wood was born December 11, 1951, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Curtis Franklin Wood and Martha Joyce Haynes Wood. A resident of Troup and Coweta counties most of her life, she was a member of Spirit Filled Ministries and was a former employee of Newnan Hospital. Survivors include her sister, Theresa Greene-Norred and her husband Wayne of Grantville; step-brothers, Nelson and Sandra Norred of Sharpsburg, Jimmy and Cathy Norred of Hogansville; nephews, Scott and Jennifer Greene, Jason and Nikki Greene, Chad Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald J. Wood, and her step-mother, Earline Kindred Wood. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tim Stitcher will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
