Charlotte Nash Lee

April 10, 1925 — March 14, 2016

Mrs. Charlotte Nash Lee, of Luthersville, passed away, Monday, March 14, 2016, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Lee was born April 10, 1925, in Luthersville, daughter of the late Charles Alonza Nash and Dora Reid Nash. A graduate of Luthersville High School, she attended business school in Atlanta, was employed the Bell Bomber Plant in Marietta (now Lockheed) and at Uniroyal in Hogansville. She retired as a secretary after thirty years of service with William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan, was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church, and in recent years had attended Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Lone Oak. Survivors include her daughters, Gail Lee Gordon and her husband Ken Gordon of LaGrange, Susan Lee McCaffrey and her husband Jim McCaffrey of Atlanta; and grandsons, William Lee Gordon of Durham, NC and Christopher Lee McCaffrey of Atlanta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Perry Lee; and her brother and sister in-law, C. H. and Bellwood Nash. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Michael McFarland and the Reverend Winston Skinner will officiate and interment will be in Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Flowers are welcomed, or memorial contributions may be made to Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Building Fund or to any hospice organization. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
