Charles William Talley

MR. CHARLES W. TALLEY Mr. Charles W. Talley, 65, of Calhoun and formerly of Hogansville, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Chris Wilkie, the Reverend Billy Terry, and Mr. Jeff Talley will officiate. Mr. Talley was born October 14, 1942, in Calhoun, son of the late Charles Robert Talley and the late Belle Dyer Talley. A resident of Calhoun and Dalton most of his life, he lived in Troup county from 1982 until 1990, where he was involved in the youth sports program. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his sons and daughters in-law, Scott and Misty Talley and Jeff and Jennifer Talley, all of Hogansville; a daughter, Cynthia Denise Talley of Calhoun; sisters, Katherine Waters of Signal Mountain, TN and Betty Rabun of Hogansville; four half-sisters; two half-brothers; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 5 until 9 Friday night, September 5th Services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6th
