Charles Edward Rowe

June 18, 1947 — March 20, 2016

Mr. Edward Rowe, 68, of Hogansville, passed away, Sunday, March 20, 2016, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Rowe was born June 18, 1947, and was the son of the late Wyche and Nettie Keith Rowe. An Air Force veteran, he received a Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War, he was Baptist by faith, was a member of the American Legion and the NRA, and was employed as a draftsman for Southwire Corporation for a number of years. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Dana and Brian Ayers of Buchanan; sons, David Rowe of Hogansville and Michael Rowe of Stockbridge; and his former wife and close friend, Linda Moon, of Stockbridge. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
