MR. WAYNE NORTON Mr. Charles Wayne Norton, 40, of Hogansville, died Sunday, January 31, 2010, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dan Akins will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Mr. Norton was born August 30, 1969, in East Point, son of Winnefred White Norton of Cuthbert and the late Charles Samuel Norton. He lived in Palmetto before making his home in Hogansville in 2001, and was a self-employed auto mechanic. Survivors in addition to his mother, include his special friend, Dianne Walden of Hogansville, and her children, Bobbie Jordan of Hogansville, and Justin Walker of Chicago, IL; sisters, Virginia Moore of Palmetto, Mattie Lee Norton of Panama City Beach, FL, and Mary Joy Davidson of Union City; brothers, Harry Eugene Norton of Thomaston, Albert Roy Norton of Fairburn, Robert Frank Norton of Union City, and Samuel Eliga Norton, of College Park. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 2 until 4 Thursday afternoon, February 4th, at Claude A.
