Charles L. Morris

Mr. Charles L. Morris, 83, of Grantville, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation Center in Newnan. Mr. Morris was born June 3, 1937, in Letcher, Kentucky, son of the late Elmer and Margaret Smith Morris. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army, he retired as a service instructor from Dictaphone Corporation and had made his home in Coweta County since 1984. He was a member of the Newnan Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include his wife, Nancy McGuinn Morris of Grantville; daughter, Anna Sue Morris Lovell and her husband Joseph Lovell, also of Grantville; sons, Charles Kevin Morris and his wife Connie Morris of Leesville, SC, Jonathan David Morris and his wife Jessica Morris of Grantville; sisters, Eleanor Avery and Janice Trimble; and eight grandchildren. The family will plan a memorial service later. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
