MR. ALAN LANCASTER Mr. Charles Alan Lancaster, 49, of Franklin, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Charles Davis, the Reverend George Daves, and the Pastor Debbie Kendrick will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Born September 19, 1961, in Newnan, Mr. Lancaster was the son of Johnny Eugene Lancaster and the late Charlene Shelnutt Lancaster. He lived in Hogansville and Grantville most of his life and was a member of Heaven Bound Church of God in Centralhatchee. He is survived by his father, Johnny Lancaster; brother, Gene Lancaster; sister and brother in-law, Trenee and Randy Johnson and their children, McKenna, Logan, and Lauren, all of Hogansville; a special friend, Tina Swick and her children Mark and Crystal Forehand of Franklin.
