Charles N. Hammett

Mr. Charles N. Hammett, 57, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the home of his mother in Albany.

Mr. Hammett was born January 4, 1968, in Franklin and lived in Hogansville most of his life. He was employed as a carpenter, enjoyed hunting, and especially loved fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Johnson and Don Connell of Albany; father, Nick Hammett of LaGrange; brothers, Scottie and Jeanna Johnson and their daughter Adallyn of Leesburg, Chris and Sherry Brumbley and their son Michael of Texas City, TX; Phillip Hammett of LaGrange; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.. Saturday, prior to the service.
