MR. CHARLES C. GARNER Mr. Charles C. Garner, 42, of Luthersville, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor Jimmy Lester and Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday. Born September 28, 1971, in Fulton County, Mr. Garner lived in Stockbridge before making his home in Luthersville in 2011. He was Baptist by faith and was employed as a retail manager. Survivors include his parents, Carlton and Linda Garner of Rocky Mount; his partner, Tracy Thornton of Luthersville; sisters and brothers in-law, Stacey Anderson of Acworth, Shelly and Kenneth Pacheco of Pell City, Alabama, Tandra and Walter Coleman of Fayetteville; brother and sister in-law, Steve and Lynne Garner of Canton; his grandmothers, Doris Garner of Rocky Mount and Mattie Lester of Newnan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
