Charles W. "Buddy" Gaddy

Mr. Charles W. "Buddy" Gaddy, 67, of Hogansville, passed away, Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Born March 3, 1950, in LaGrange, Mr. Gaddy was the son of the late Hiram William Gaddy and Roberta Flournoy Gaddy. He was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was Baptist by faith, and loved motorcycles. Survivors include his daughter, Chrystal Gaddy and William McGhee of LaGrange; special grandson, Zackery and Brittany Ransom of LaGrange; step-son, Shane and Susan Brewer of Dothan, AL; sisters, Shirley Shiflett-Davis of Hogansville, Diane Clay of Woodbury; and grandchildren, Britany Brewer, Regan Brewer, Mack Brewer, Shyanne Brewer, Jake Brewer, Kalyn Brewer and Ransom Brewer; and two wonderful great granddaughter that made his world go around, Aaliyah and Ariel Ransom. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Gaddy. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night.
