MRS. CHANNELL BELLORA
Mrs. Channell Mezick Bellora, 69, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Bellora was born November 18, 1945, in Troup County, daughter of the late Katie McDonald Mezick Bartlett and the late Thomas LaVaughan Mezick. A former resident of Manchester, she lived in Troup County most of her life and was a retired secretary and bookkeeper.
Survivors include her son, Charlie Garrett, Jr., of LaGrange; sisters and brothers in-law, Beth and Joe Gordy of Sharpsburg, Kathie and Jimmy King of LaGrange; grandchildren, Chelsea Garrett and Justin Garrett; and great-grandchildren, Sadie Garrett and Axel Ramey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frazier A. Bellora, Jr., and her brother, William Thomas "Bubba" Mezick.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend James Moon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange Charitable Trust, 1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240.
