MR. CHAD WINKLES Mr. Chad Elbert Winkles, 37, of Hogansville, died Saturday,January 30, 2010. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, at Friendship Baptist Church in LaGrange. The Reverend James Moon will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Born July 7, 1972, in LaGrange, Mr. Winkles was a lifelong resident of Troup County and attended Friendship Baptist Church. He was employed as a fork lift operator at Southwire Corporation in Carrollton. Survivors include his wife, Tassie Buchanan Winkles; daughter, Kendall Winkles; son, Jacob Winkles; his father, James V. (Buddy) Winkles, all of Hogansville; sister, Mechelle King of Pine Mountain; brothers, James Winkles Hodnett of Pine Mountain and Albert Moncus of Blairsville; and his close friend, Stephen Lucas of Duluth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Nutt Winkles. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund established at C B & T in LaGrange for the education of his children. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, February 2nd, at Friendship Baptist Church on North Barnard Ave. in LaGrange Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3rd, at Friendship Baptist Church in LaGrange Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
