Cecil David Aldridge

Mr. Cecil David Aldridge, 74, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Aldridge was born November 6, 1948, in LaGrange, son of the late Charlie Cecil Aldridge and Catherine Denny Aldridge. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, he retired as a truck driver for the City of LaGrange after 25 years of service, and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his brother and sister in-law, Terry and Debra Aldridge of Hogansville; brothers in-law, Jerry McRae and Jimmy McWaters, both of LaGrange; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Diane McRae and Cathy McWaters.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday.
