Cathy Sue Harris

Mrs. Cathy Sue Harris, 66, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Harris was born January 24, 1957, in Newnan, daughter of the late William Riley Kelley and Rachel Feltman Kelley. She was Baptist by faith and was employed by Georgia Pain and Spine in Newnan prior to her retirement. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, loved being with her family, was the best cook in her family, and was known for her dressing and her chicken and dumplings.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Harris of Hogansville; son, Jason and Cori Arrington of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter, Samantha and Brian Shirey of LaGrange; sisters, Dorothy and Jim Byrom of Luthersville, Willene Bullock of Brooks; grandchildren, Brittany and Andrew Caldwell, Brianna Arrington, Blake Shirey, Tyler and Libra Shirey, Arianna Arrington; great-grandchildren, Everett Caldwell and Marty Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Arrington; sisters, Peggy Pollard and Linda Quick; and brother, Junior Kelley.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Jonathan Hannah will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday.
