MRS. CATHERINE WARD BROWN Mrs. Catherine Ward (Cat) Brown, 75, of LaGrange, died Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dennis Boyd will officiate and entombment will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Thursday night. Mrs. Brown was born April 13, 1936, in Carroll County, daughter of the late Leon and Vera Mae Daniel Ward. She lived in LaGrange most of her life and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Jeanette and Randy Terrell of Franklin; sons and daughter in-law, Tony Brown of LaGrange, Lancer and Ruth Brown of Springville, Utah; daughter in-law, Janice Brown of LaGrange; brother, Benny Sanders of Calhoun; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Brown and her daughter in-law, Mary Brown. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
