MRS. CAROLYN J. ROBERTSON Mrs. Carolyn Justiss Robertson, 75, of Newnan, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Atlanta Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, in The Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Kathy Broadwater and Dr. Bob Martin officiating. Mrs. Robertson was born July 9, 1934, in Grantville, daughter of the late Leon and Lillie Payton Justiss. She returned to make her home in Coweta county in the early 1970's, retired as bookkeeper for Dr. John Wells and then served as a Pink Lady at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was a member of Lovejoy Memorial United Methodist Church in Newnan. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Lynn and Mark Macie of Newnan; sons and daughters in-law, John A. and Christie Robertson of Newnan and Gregory D. and Janet Robertson of Cartersville; two sisters, Joyce and Harry Robertson and Mildred Rainwater, all of Newnan; one brother, James and Martha Justiss of Cherryville, NC; grandchildren, Deann Robertson, Suzanne and Josh Smallwood, Leigh Ann and Derwin Ware, Jamie Robertson and Mark Gomez, Bret and Sarah Robertson, Lori Robertson, Sarah Robertson, Jordan Macie, Dwayne and Tara Robertson, Nikki Arrington, Christopher and Amber McDaniel; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Robertson; and her son, Mark Robertson. Memorial contributions may be made to Lovejoy Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the American Diabetes Association. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 1 until 2 Monday afternoon, January 4th, at Claude A.
