MRS. CAROLYN S. HUCKEBA Mrs. Carolyn Slaton Huckeba, 74, of Hogansville, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jim Massa, the Reverend David Simmons, and the Reverend Joseph Bonner will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Tuesday night. Mrs. Huckeba was born October 14, 1937, in Newnan, daughter of the late Rufus and Ruth Pitts Slaton. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hogansville and was a member of the Daniel Family Survivors include her daughters, Gayla Prince of Ecuador, Faye Daniel of Hogansville, and Tanya Norwood of Franklin; sons, David Daniel, Darrell Daniel, and Lee Daniel, all of Hogansville, and Vance Bell of Glenn; sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
