Caroline Elaine Waldrep

Mrs. Caroline Elaine Waldrep, 75, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mrs. Waldrep was born September 3, 1947, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Odis Frank Taylor, Sr. and Virginia Blount Taylor. A longtime resident of Hogansville, she had been employed as a seamstress and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed taking care of everyone, was a friend to all that she met, and loved others back ten-fold.

Survivors include her husband, Philip Waldrep; daughters and sons in-law, Dorothy Mae and Mike Cruce, Angela and Will Driver, Katie and Rex Stinson, Robyn and Austin Thompson, all of Hogansville; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Hogans of Waynesville, MO; brothers, Odis F. Taylor, Jr. of Jackson, Thomas Taylor of Douglasville, and James W. Taylor of Hogansville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Allen Taylor.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jeff McCartney will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
