Carole Boone Nylander

Mrs. Carole Boone Nylander, age 77, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Pruitt Health in Franklin

Mrs. Nylander was born July 14, 1948, in Newnan, daughter of the late Donnie Hall Boone and Geneva Hopson Boone. A resident of Newnan most of her life, he was Baptist by faith and worked many years as a secretary. She enjoyed movies and music, loved her family and friends, and was very strong in her faith.

Survivors include her son, David Nylander of Commerce; her sister, Donna Waumans of Hogansville; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Wilson Boone, Dennis Ellioitt Boone, and Charles Gary Boone.

A memorial service is not being planned at this time.
