Carol Toney

Mrs. Carol Toney, 69, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Toney was born November 23, 1948, in Floyd County, daughter of the late Hubert and Harriett Lowry Cline. She had been a resident of Hogansville for 46 years, was a member of Bible Baptist Church, and had been employed by Jindal Films. Survivors include her sons, Grady V. Toney of Franklin, and Samuel J. Toney (Adena) of Luthersville; daughters, Barbara Grice (Raymond) of Centre, AL, and Ellen Brewer (James) of Hogansville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild on the way. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Toney was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Calvin Toney. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, at Bible Baptist Church. The Reverend Jerome Wood will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night.
