Carol Annette Lashley

Mrs. Carol A. Lashley, age 64, of Hogansville, passed away, Monday, May 18, 2026, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Lashley was born May 6, 1962, in Pell City, AL, daughter of the late Andrew J. Wallace and Lillie Hicks Wallace. A resident of Greensboro, GA for fifteen years before making her home in Hogansville, she had served as executive director of Circle of Love Women’s Shelter in Greensboro. She was a very giving person who was always willing to help anyone, was an avid reader, and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Johnny R. Parson of Tallapoosa; daughter, Christina Gantt of Greenville; grandchildren, Kayla Gantt of Hogansville and Jacob Parson serving in the U.S. Air Force; sister, Sherry Pope of Buchanan; and brother, Douglas Wallace of Anniston, AL.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the memorial service.
