Carol Masdon Howard

Mrs. Carol Masdon Howard, 67, of Grantville, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Howard was born January 1, 1954, in Franklin, daughter of the late Roger and Hazel Morris Masdon. A lifelong resident of Grantville, she was a member of Welcome All Baptist Church in Hogansville, was a homemaker, and loved caring for her family. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Barney R. Howard; daughter and son in-law, Misty and Ryan Dillard; brother and sister in-law, Gene and Cathy Masdon, all of Grantville; grandchildren, Justin Tillery, Mallory Howard, and James Romines. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Howard McPherson, and her sister, Virginia Masdon Boswell. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy and the Reverend Ronnie Cannon will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
