Carol Charlene Cross

Miss Carol Cross, 66, of Grantville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Carol was born October 11, 1953, in Newnan, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Cross and Gladys Cole Cross. A lifelong resident of Coweta County, she was a graduate of Newnan High School and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville, now Change Church. Carol had also been an active member of the Grantville Senior Center. She is survived by an aunt, Rachel Taylor of Annandale, VA; and several cousins, including Sam Cole and his wife Darlene, of Grantville. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.mn., Saturday, July 25, at Change Church in Grantville, with the Reverend T.J. Boyd and the Reverend Carl Hill officiating.. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
