MRS. CAROL BRYANT Mrs. Carol Ogle Bryant, 83, of Harrisburg, NC, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord, NC. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Dr. Doug Anderson will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11 Wednesday morning. Mrs. Bryant was born February 3, 1928, in LaFayette, Alabama, daughter of the late Robert Byrum Ogle and Thelma Berry Ogle. A resident of Harrisburg for the past ten years, she was a former resident of Newnan and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a supporter of Global Scope Ministries and was a loving grandmother, who adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Edward C. Bryant of Harrisburg; daughters and sons in-law, Susan and Phillip Coan of Concord, Janet and Marvin Pearce of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Jack Ogle of Villa Rica and Wayne Ogle of Hiram; her aunt, Alice Marshall of Clermont, FL; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 1485 Hwy. 34 E., Suite B2, Newnan, GA 30265, or to Samaritan's Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 10 until 11 Wednesday morning, February 1st, at Claude A.
