Carlton Ralph Turner

Mr. Carlton Ralph Turner, 74, of Luthersville, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Turner was born October 26, 1948, in College Park, son of the late Charlie Marian Turner and Lillie Mae Burdett Turner. A resident of Meriwether County for a number of years, he was a retired carpenter and was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church. He enjoyed building and making things, but his life was centered around his love for his wife and family.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Turner; son, Marty Turner and his children, Jillian Turner and Josh Turner (Meagan) and Josh's children, Owen and Dax; son, Ken Turner and his wife, Selena, and their children, Angel Paul, Christopher Allen, Allison Turner, and Travis Turner; and Ken's grandchildren, Sophia Turner and Oakley Snow; and sister, Allene Tillman.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.
