Carlene Pruett Frost

MRS. CARLENE FROST Mrs. Carlene Frost, 78, of Newnan, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation. Born August 7, 1937 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Mrs. Frost was the daughter of the late William and Lena Campbell Pruett. She worked for Mead Paper Co. for 19 years, was Baptist by faith, and had lived in Newnan for past 20 years. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Cecil Barber of Luthersville; her daughter and son in-law, Kim and Tim Bish of Newnan; sons and daughters in-law, Larry and Lori Waldon and Randy Waldon all of Mableton, and Darell and Beverly Waldon of Wetumpka, Al.; sisters and brothers in-law, Geraldine and Jerry O'Neal of Douglasville, Juvelle and Bunt Frost of Columbus; daughter in-law, Bobbie Jean Frost of Greenville; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Lee Frost. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville with Pastor Tim Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Luthersville Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 270, Luthersville, GA 30251, or to a favorite charity. Claude A.
