Carl Wesley Turner

Mr. Carl Wesley Turner, 64, of East Point, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center South in East Point. Mr. Turner was born August 8, 1952, in Tallapoosa, son of the late George West Turner and Darlene Bryan Turner. A resident of East Point for the past three years, he lived in Palmetto most of his life and was a retired dairyman's assistant. Survivors include his wife Rose Marie Turner; daughters, Donna Smith, Becky Turner, Darlene Turner, Debbie Turner and Teresa Turner; sons, Carl Turner, Jr., Bryant Turner, Bobby Turner and Jesse Turner, all of East Point; sister, Diane Thompson of Newnan; brothers, Steve Turner of Greenville and Joe Turner of Newnan; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A period of viewing and visitation was held at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 4. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
