MR. CARL GALLOWAY Mr. Carl Galloway, 66, of Hogansville, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Bob Martin will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mr. Galloway was born April 5, 1945, in Hogansville and lived in this area most of his life. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1962 until 1966 and attended school to receive diesel mechanic instruction and truck driver training in 1968-69. A retired self-employed truck driver, he was Baptist by faith and was a member of Hogansville Masonic Lodge #93. Survivors include his wife, Linda Galloway of Hogansville; son, Troy Galloway of Hogansville; daughters and sons in-law, Karen and Brian Trevena of Sharpsburg, Bobbi and Marty Spears of LaGrange; his mother, Betty Galloway of Hogansville; sisters, Jenny Norwood and Blake Shelnutt of Hogansville, Lisa and Ricky Tenney of Rockmart; brothers, Ron Galloway, Steve and Pam Galloway, all of Hogansville; grandchildren, Michelle and Justin Matthews, Savanna Galloway; great-grandson, Wyatt Matthews; aunt, Ann Long of Grantville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raford Galloway. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, June 13th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 14th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
