MR. CAREY W. WATSON Mr. Carey W. Watson, 57, of Hogansville, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Cullman, Alabama. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. The Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Tuesday night. Mr. Watson was born July 17, 1954, in Floyd County, and lived in the Hogansville and LaGrange area most of his life. He was employed as a truck driver for Star Transportation of Nashville, TN and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved spending time with his kids, and loved drinking Waffle House coffee. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Watson of Hogansville; daughters, Jacqueline Michelle Jones of Valley, AL, Valorie Steele Smith and her husband, John of Hogansville; sons, Christopher Wayne Watson, Cody Ryan Watson, Coltin DeWayne Watson, all of Hogansville; his mother, Lois Watson of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Jack and Linda Harris of Milledgeville, Ronnie and Karen Harris of Opelika, AL; grandson, Matthew Brian Duke; and his brother in-law, Greg Nichols and his wife, Vicki of Rome. He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Watson; brothers, Toney Watson, Jack Watson, Danny Watson; and sister, Joyce Harrison. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 7 until 9 Tuesday night, May 22nd, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 23rd, at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange Interment: Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange
