Bruce Dewayne Hilliard

Bruce D. Hilliard, age 58, of Sharpsburg, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Mr. Hilliard was born May 12, 1968, in Newnan, son of the late Willie Arthur Hilliard and Alma Virginia Bishop Maimone. A resident of Coweta County for a number of years, he had also lived in Eastman, was employed as a millwright, and was a member of Millwright Union Local 1263. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and driving his Jeep with the top down, and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.

Survivors include his wife, Tonia Hilliard; sister, Kim Pece (Don) of Hogansville; brothers, Allen Bishop (Kristi) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brandon Ruppe of Sharpsburg; and a number of special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Cole Hilliard; and his sister, Chanel Hilliard.
