MRS. BRENDA BROWN TERRELL

Mrs. Brenda Brown Terrell, 71 of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home.

Born November 3, 1954 in Troup County, Mrs. Terrell was the daughter of the late Virgil Cleo Brown and Catherine Ward Brown. She was Baptist by faith, worked at Carter's, and later at Dunson Mills. She was a member at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church and loved everyone, especially her family.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Randy Terrell of Franklin; daughter and son in-law, Brenda and John Prescott of West Point; sons and daughters in-law, Allen and Sherry Terrell of Roanoke, AL and Johnny and Amanda Terrell of LaGrange; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Brown and Tony Brown.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. EST Thursday, January 22, at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church in Woodland, AL. Reverend Thomas Taylor, Reverend Justin Benefield, and Reverend Jeff Duran will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening.
