MRS. BRENDA SMITH Mrs. Brenda Ball McWaters Smith, 61, of Newnan, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Tony Grant and Pastor Brandon Brooks will officiate and interment will be in the Franklin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, June 11, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. Mrs. Smith was born July 9, 1951, in Troup County, daughter of the late Homer Nathan Ball and Frances Turner Ball. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Tracy and Dale Bunn of Franklin, Michelle and Jeremy Lites, Shannon and Chris Cochran, and Alyssa Smith, all of Newnan; sister, Sara Askew of Piedmont, Ala., nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
