Mrs. Brenda Simonds, 74, LaGrange, formerly of Haleyville, AL, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. She was a secretary with West Georgia College and was a member of New Prospect Baptist, Haleyville, AL. Survivors include her children, Brenna Lee Whipple, Judy Lynn Roberts, Brenda Louise Blair Andrews; brother, Jack Brock Simmons; sister, Betty Papile; grandchildren, Erma Leah Simonds, Robert Paul Lee Arnall, Matthew Ray Arnall, Mark Allen Arnall, Luke Ryan Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Lee and Erma Leah Brock Simmons; son, Timothy Lee Simonds; brothers, Hewitt Simmons, Haskell Simmons, James Ralph Simmons, Robert Simmons, Kirby Simmons; sister, Mary Simmons Washburn. Visitation will be Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. The funeral service was conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL, with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery in Haleyville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home assisted Pinkard Funeral Home with local arrangements.
