Mrs. Brenda Castrow Phillips, 75, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, at her home.
Mrs. Phillips was born April 7, 1942, in Houston, Texas, daughter of the late John Deal Castrow and Eleanore Bailey Castrow. A resident of Hogansville for the past fifteen years, she was a customer service agent for Eastern Airlines for many years, and later was employed at the Hogansville and Greenville Public Libraries.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Phillips of Hogansville; son, Richard and Lorie Phillips of Meansville; daughters, Deanna Tuggle and Richard Baldwin, Melissa and Joe Oakley all of Newnan, Lauren Linn of Connecticut; grandchildren, Shannen Laster and her husband Jim, Gauge Phillips, Bo Saye, Bobbie Saye, Lexi Saye, Hunter Oakley, Reese Oakley, Buck Oakley, Hayden Reinarz; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Laster and Kaeden Goodman.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Alton Midgett and Dr. Melvin Payne will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday.
