Brenda McCurry Martin

Mrs. Brenda McCurry Martin, age 66, of Luthersville, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Martin was born August 10, 1960, in Griffin, daughter of the late R. C. "Mac" McCurry and Patsy McCrary McCurry. A former resident of Newnan, she lived in Luthersville for the past 35 years and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Martin of Luthersville; son and daughter in-law, Jason and Terri McCurry of Greenville; grandchildren, Jordan McCurry, Katelyn McCurry, Abbigail McCurry, Tyler Branch, Austin Branch, and Shanan Mitchell; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Phillips; and brothers, Michael McCurry, Danny McCurry, and Stevie McCurry.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Byrom Martin will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.
