Brenda Harris Bohannon

Mrs. Brenda Harris Bohannon, 62, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Bohannon was born February 25, 1953, in Tampa, Florida, daughter of the late Johnny Harris, Jr. and Frances Price Harris. She was Baptist by faith, was a retired retail manager, and lived in Henry County before recently making her home in Hogansville. Survivors include her husband, Danny Bohannon of Hogansville; daughters and sons in-law, Kimberly and Christopher Speakes of Barnesville, Jessica and Jerry Shellnutt of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Darrell and Tricia Bohannon of Griffin; sisters, Barbara Johns of Lone Oak, Vicki Floyd of Canton; brothers, Bill Harris and Ricky Harris, both of Jackson; and ten grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Chris Johns officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Thursday night. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to The Walter Reed Society Warrior/Family Support Fund. Claude A.
